Je vous relaye l'appel de Barbara Glowczewski que je viens de recevoir de sa part à l'instant.
Pour rappel Barbara Glowczewski est Directrice de recherche au CNRS au Laboratoire d'Anthropologie Sociale, spécialiste entre autre des Aborigènes d'Australie.
Vous trouverez la pétition qu'elle m'a envoyer concernant le décés de Mulrinji (de Palm Island) causée par un Officier de Police.
En effet, toutes les charges ont été levées concernant le Senior Sergeant Chris Hurley alors que 2 mois auparavant l'autopsie avait révélé que l'Aborigène décédé avait eu 4 côtes cassées. Il parait selon la Police, qu'il serait tombé...
La pétition demande que le dossier soir réouvert et examiné en toutes impartialités.

La violence contre les Aborigènes est quotidienne, y compris par la police.
En Australie jamais encore un policier n'a été arrêté pour cela. Y compris en cas de mort. En novembre 2006 une émeute a éclaté sur l'île Palm pour demander justice pour la mort en garde-à-vue d'un homme bien portant de 36 ans arrêté pour ivresse (Mulrinji Doomadgee), retrouvé moins d'une heure plus tard mort en cellule avec le foie scindé en 2 et 4 côtes cassées. Il y a un mois au terme de deux ans d'enquête la juge coronaire (Clements) déclarait le policier responsable de cette mort mais il y a deux jours la directrice de la procuration publique (Clare) a décidé de ne retenir aucune charge contre le Sergent Hurley.
Une pétition vient d'être mise en ligne pour tenter de remédier à cette situation scandaleuse qui fait la une en Australie.

Sans blague , j'espere bien que d'autre cas se reveleront grace à ctte action(et il y en aura), car si une chose est bien scandaleuse, c'est bien celle-ci.
La police est là pour proteger le citoyen et non pour le maltraiter sous quelques forme que ce soit.
Le manque d'information est tellement evident à ce sujet que 'lon arrive à des abus.
Ca me rappel une affaire tres recente avec un supporter de l'OM (suis pas fan de foot hein), ou la bavure n'a jamais ete completement effacée, mais 'l'on a assister à un defilé de version aussi recherchées les unes que les autres.
Enfion je pense que les aborigènes ne sont pas les seuls dans ce cas là, j'ai deja fait les frais d'un control un peu musclé pour avoir dumé une cigarette roulée à une certaines epoque, reultat 4 heures au post , tout ca parceque le flic croyait que je m'etais roulé un petard devant ses yeux
Mais que fais la policeeeeeeeeeeeee (cf madagascar le dessin animé)
je vais la faire circuler cette petition parceque c'est intolerable des choses comme celles-ci!

Enfion je pense que les aborigènes ne sont pas les seuls dans ce cas là, j'ai deja fait les frais d'un control un peu musclé pour avoir dumé une cigarette roulée à une certaines epoque, reultat 4 heures au post , tout ca parceque le flic croyait que je m'etais roulé un petard devant ses yeux


Mais que fais la policeeeeeeeeeeeee (cf madagascar le dessin animé)
je vais la faire circuler cette petition parceque c'est intolerable des choses comme celles-ci!

Non pas de problème, ça a été confirmé par quelqu'un de l'Ambassade Aborigène à Camberra. Et puis, je lui en ai parlé aussi.
